Two things had now become high priority on the list of potential disasters, and in no particular order.
1 : The fridge was starting to give all the signals of wanting to die at any given moment which meant warm wine and even worse, warm beer.
and if that wasn’t enough.
2 : A storm was brewing in the Atlantic threatening to unleash havoc on the Atlantic coast and all of the marinas between us and home were in the firing line.
Over the next three days we battened down and ran for cover making our home port as the tail end of this low pressure zone battered the coast.
2023 was over for now and the process of putting LJ into hibernation started all over again.
